ABOUT US
Three generations of fine engineering.
Family owned since 1976.
OUR ORIGINS
FROM 1976 TO NOW
GCH Long Block Racing began rebuilding hot rod engines in the 1970s. Now we’re on the cutting edge of Subaru’s ever-improving, ever-evolving performance technology.
We are a second and third generation machine shop with a combined total of 65 years of experience. We’re proud to offer top-quality engineering technology. Every job that comes through our shop is custom built to order.
Fully in-house, we have control over what leaves our shop. Each block and head is tested through our rigorous inspection from start to finish by our team of state-certified machinists. We measure our blocks inside and out to ensure the best tolerance levels and specs.

BACKED UP BY 45 YEARS OF PIONEERING EXPERIENCE.
THE TEAM
George is a 2nd-generation engine rebuilder. He started in 1976, learning everything from his father.
George has rebuilt an array of engines from domestics and imports to hot rods, muscle cars, and, of course, high performance Subarus.

The knowledge and experience George accumulated over the years allowed him to hear any noise an engine would make and diagnose the problem, even by just listening over the phone.
